About Us  Julie started her career immediately after achieving a Bachelor's of Arts degree from The Interior Design Institute of Newport Beach in 2002. She assisted in the growth and development of a successful decorative painting studio, where she learned the art of faux effect painting, decorative motif, and assisted with murals and specialty glazes. A year later, Julie went to work for a successful Model Home Design firm in Orange County. There she worked as a team leader designing complete interiors of Model Homes and Sales Offices for numerous builders in California, Arizona, and Las Vegas. She successfully managed and controlled a working budget for roughly eleven jobs per year, each consisting of 3-4 homes each. Her specialties included specifications of flooring materials, furniture layouts, tile details, custom built-ins for sales displays, media niches, and tech areas, custom bedding and draperies, and furniture selections. Models were then merchandised with accessories to replicate livable spaces for buyers to purchase. While the budgets were often tight, the design was never compromised. After four years in the Model Home Industry, Julie moved on to work with a Developer in Los Angeles, designing multi-million dollar Residential Speculative Homes (homes designed specifically to put on the market) in the prestigious areas of Shady Canyon Irvine, Bel Air, Brentwood, and Palos Verdes. Julie worked directly with the Architect, Contractor, and fabricators to bring 9 homes from conception to completion in the next 4 years. Inspiration for the interior layoutsand design were driven from the architectural style of each home as well as contemporary lifestyle demands. Only the finest materials, appliances, and finishes on the market were specified, keeping the best interest of the prospective buyer in mind. Julie specified every detail of the interiors, including plumbing fixtures, kitchen and bathroom layouts, cabinet designs, lighting schedules and fixtures, reflected ceiling details, tile layouts, flooring materials, closet designs, moldings and trims, paint and specialty finishes, and custom hand carved fireplace mantles. She also chose all exterior finishes, including stucco color, eave details, hardscape materials, and pool tile. Once the homes were complete, she then staged them with furnishings, accessories, and artwork. In 2006, Julie started her own Interior Design business, concentrating on residential remodels, new construction, and interior spaces. She has relocated her office to the Santa Clarita Valley, and currently works in Los Angeles, Orange County, and the surrounding areas.  Her focus is always on her clients, whether it's a high-end project with a generous budget or a design-challenged homeowner, Julie finds a way to tailor the homes to their lifestyle.
